We will be closed for workshops and in person shopping for the duration of lockdown. New products are coming in even if you can't. Orders can still be requested and picked up from the porch with non contact payments. A 'virtual walk' around the shop to select stamps, stencils, new embossing powders and other supplies can be done by arrangement for porch pickup. Going to miss the smiling eyes of visitors in the shop. Stay safe, stay well and zoom with us!
** NEW ** See our craft supplies tab (pages in progress) for current stock available for contactless collection from our enclosed porch.
NEW IN JANUARY 2021
Regular groups and workshops will not be held until social distancing is relaxed. We would love to play, but your safety comes first.
'Crafternoon Casual' every Tuesday on Zoom. The room will be open for everyone to say hi and catch up at 9:50, then the topic will start at 10, to last an hour or less. I am working on having links to the recorded sessions available on this site. Each week will will be a different topic. If you want to craft along, and specific materials are needed, they will be announced in advance. Sometimes the topic itself will indicate what you need.

I can't begin to tell you how much I have appreciated the designers across the globe who have been giving their time and sharing techniques through their facebook live postings. Many have now put up online classes, and they are very reasonable. Pick your favourite craft designers and look them up, take a course, learn a technique and have fun!
A word about the creative sector and lockdown...Please help artists and small shops recover by supporting your local community. Buy Gift certificates for a future class, find out who has online and distance learning courses, think of them when you are sending a gift to someone. See if your favourite artist ships, they may now even if they didn't before. Find out what has kept your friends occupied in lockdown, if they have discovered a new hobby, encourage it get them materials or training to take it further. Purchase online direclty from the designer's shop if you can, or the gallery that carries their work. Remember the Just a Card philosophy when the shops open, make a small purchase of something that you can use, Just a Card, can make a difference to a shop if everyone who went in spent just a little. If we did in every small business in our communities, think of how much faster the recovery will be. To you it's a £2.50 handcrafted one of a kind card. To me, it is one more item I can ask the local maker to deliver when she brings the next batch, a bit of cash flow to use to pay my local window cleaner, a reason to go to the post office in local shops to make a deposit and grab a pint of milk, for surely, when I pass by the local bake shop on my way home, I will have popped in for a loaf of bread and ended up with a slice of delicious cake or a brownie. Even after HMRC takes their 20%, your purchase contributed so much to the local community.
Until we know when we can safely hold workshops, we are not publishing any teasers of things to come. Rest assured, all the Tutors have been planning, plotting and anxious to share their talents with you.
