Have a nice diurnal anomaly!
Well mates, if you want something done, catch a feline when he's not napping. I have a very important role or two here @TheMalthouse. Mainly, I hold down the workshop table just in case gravity fails. The Crafty Biped (and quite a few other bipeds) humours herself by taking photos of what she calls 'my antics' when I am not napping. Ya know, a fair amount of holding things down gets misunderstood as napping. But from now on, I will have to take over the weekly blog in addition to my other tasks. More about those later. I am watching the table go from a clean, tableclothed beading environment to something that may be messy play. I see the brown heavy duty teflon mats coming out and power bars. That only means one thing - heat guns. I may make myself scarce for this one. Must dash and hold down the table cloth, she expects the entertainment of me sitting on it when she wants it off. The crafty biped should know by now. Cats don't comply. She's muttering something about me 'getting' to sleep in the garage if it's not nice out, Kay Carley is coming and I make here sneeze. Well, the glitter queen better watch it, last time she was here there was a glitter storm and I can't mention what effect it had on my output. I may stay clear even though it's what they want me to do. Oh, the choices one must make to uphold a reputation.

Schrodinger the Crafty Cat is really looking forward to the beading workshop today. I see the mischief in his eyes. He is of the opinion that cats are far superior when it comes to using thread and moving beads. I'm not sure if his daisy chain will work with his feline methods, but I have visions of seed beeds being batted across the floor. Crafty Cat may find himself excluded from the studio space today.
I am pretty excited about the beading today as well, there is one space left in the class and I'm going to take full advantage of it. I hope to pick up a few tips and make some embellishments for cards and my felted brooches. Any excuse to try a new craft!
Penny is also going to put some of her work in the gift shop, I have a beautiful collection of work coming in from the artists, getting ready for the opening soon, I may have to get a basket for Schrodinger to sleep in to keep him off the shelves. What am I thinking - the basket would sit there empty, better to make space for him on the shelf!
It was a lovely morning @TheMalthouse in Herstmonceux! A young lady and her mother came in for a 'Story Bracelet' workshop. She wrote a story and then made a charm bracelet to tell the story in beads and charms. Such fun! A big thanks to Mum who made a donation to MacMillan while she was here.
We can create workshops to suit your needs; ask and we can make most things happen, after all, this morning some flutterbys granted a princess a wish to have a pink dress!
It's all go @TheMalthouse!
